It’s time to

TALK IT OUT

A friendly stranger will listen, bounce ideas, offer support, and keep your trust.

Talk To A Stranger is about YOU being seen, heard and supported as you talk out your new idea, goal or change you want to make in a safe conversation.

This is your opportunity to talk to someone neutral who doesn’t know anything about you, your past, present or expected future. They have no reason to judge you, tell you what to do or make you feel bad for speaking your truth.

It’s your time to have a safe conversation to share a new idea, goal or a change you want to make in your life while feeling seen, heard and supported. It gives you the chance to think out loud, find a fresh perspective or gain confidence in your next steps.

You can be open, honest and vulnerable about what you want in your life without having to worry about what other people will think. It’s perfect for you if you’re feeling scared or afraid to share your thoughts with people you know or deal with the opinions, fears or judgements of your loved ones.

A friendly stranger will listen, bounce ideas, offer support, and keep your trust. It’s like working with a coach but without the price tag.

Hi, it’s Emily, your friendly stranger.

I’m an Accountability Coach and since 2016, I've been passionately helping amazing people, like you, feel confident to pursue dreams, overcome limiting beliefs, and see real progress on important goals.

Still unsure about talking to a stranger?

Remember, a stranger is just someone you haven't met yet.

The local barista who smiles warmly while handing over your next dose of caffeine, the lovely man who just helped you find something in the hardware store, and the friendly lady at the gift shop who thanked you for supporting her small business.

Every stranger is a delightful possibility. They could be a new friend, your next boss, or someone who shows up to help you when you need it most.

You may have noticed that talking to a stranger can sometimes feel easier than a friend or family member. Like how easy it is to chat with your hairdresser and how you leave the appointment feeling seen and heard without any judgement.

After all, sharing a new idea, goal, or change you want to make can sometimes feel scary. Even admitting it to yourself can be tricky, let alone telling someone you know about it.

Sharing with family and friends can create an expectation to take action, and you may worry about being judged or talked out of something you want to do. Of course, they love you, but it's human nature to fear the unknown. Most people think they don't like change.

But sometimes, change is what gets you from the life you're living today to the life you wish you were living.

As a kid, your parents or caregivers likely taught you not to talk to strangers, and that's good advice to help keep kiddos safe. But since you're no longer a kid, it's time for a new spin on an old belief.

According to Dictionary.com, the meaning of the word stranger is:

‘A person with whom one has had no personal acquaintance.'

That’s Emily, your friendly stranger.

Coach Emily provides you with a safe place to talk about your dreams in life or an idea you just can’t get out of your head.

“Emily is lovely. She listens well and makes good, logical suggestions to help me achieve my goals!"

Sharron

“Emily has wonderful tools that are very helpful and easy to apply."

Stacy

Remember, talking to a friendly stranger is just about having a safe conversation. There’s no pressure to make any plans or commit to taking action unless it feels fun and right for you to do so.

A Conversation Call can help you to…

  • Get an idea out of your head and into the open.

  • Talk about your thoughts out loud.

  • Get a dream or goal you’ve been thinking about off your chest.

  • Feel listened to and supported.

  • Trust yourself.

Are you ready to take a chance on yourself to build your confidence and see that you've already got what it takes to make a change, achieve your goals, or put a new idea into action?
